A new website is to be launched to help blind people buy designer clothes.
Two American students are launching a new talking online shop which helps the blind choose trendy clothes.
Whitecanelabel.com goes live in autumn and will ask users about their fashion tastes before reccomending suitable outfits for any occassion.
Customers will then be able to buy the clothes and have them fitted with special braille tags to make picking outfits much easier.
The tags will not only detail the designer and size of an item but will also feature special symbols which will match up to create idel outfit combinations.
The idea is to give blind people more independence when getting dressed and make it easier for them to look fashionable.
The venture is a non-profit effort and is asking designers to donate clothes, however the outfits will be sold at retail prices to prevent bargain hunters who are not blind from taking advantage of the site.
