Barbie has been given an S&M style makeover for a recent collectors edition.
The new Black Canary Barbie complete with fishnet stockings and leather jacket is based on a comic book superhero say makers Mattel.
The new doll resembles retro Cher with a sexy leather basque and kinky boots.
Christian groups are outraged by the new doll and the message it could be sending to young children, reports the sun.

It's a doll for goodness sakes. It will probably be purchased by adult collectors more than children. It doesn't look any more suggestive than some supermodels or Pam Anderson. Grow up.
