Here she shares her advice on how to achieve beautiful, youthful skin naturally.

The Three S’s are your skin’s worst enemy - Sun, Stress and Sugar. Cutting down or removing all three will help to protect and revitalise your skin now and in the long-term.

Meditate to relieve your body of stress and negative energy and don’t skimp on sleep.

Sun protection: use an SPF 20 for normal daily activities and an SPF 50 on holiday or if you’re outside playing sport, or going for a run. Choose makeup that contains an SPF too, I love mineral make up because it isn’t absorbed by the skin..

Vitamin A (retinol) will help repair any sun damage, only use it at night and always use an SPF during the day as Vit amin A turns over the skin rapidly.

Running is not good for your skin. The vital organs take your blood supply when running, so your skin receives very little. Additionally, fat loss leads to a droopy face and boobs.

Add facemasks into your beauty routine as often as 4-5 times a week.  Put one on after you wash your face in the morning whilst you make the tea and then remove it in the shower. It’s important to alternate your facemasks, ideally an exfoliating mask once or twice a week and nourishing mask the other times.

A handful of sugar mixed with some olive oil or honey will make a good gentle homemade scrub for the décolletage! Skin on the décolletage doesn’t produce as much natural oil as the skin on your face, so it is important to start caring for your neck and chest area as you would your face. When applying cleanser and moisturiser, ensure you take them right down to your chest, and always take that SPF down there too.

Exfoliate twice a week and use a vitamin rich hydrating mask the other days.

Rid your skin of toxins by giving your skin a massage, massage your skin creams into the skin every day, just spend a minute massaging morning or night.

Don't ignore your hands and feet! I developed a body lotion especially for my hands, arms legs and feet. The HSSC Regenerating Body Moisturiser stops snake skin and keeps you hydrated but it’s not sticky, and please, please use sunscreen on your hands too.

Creams packed with antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid are the best to protect, repair and hydrate.

Vitamin C is a fantastic ingredient it builds collagen (which plumps the skin) and helps prevent and treat light pigmentation.

Almonds and almond oil are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants which are essential for skin repair and cell health which improves complexion and skin tone.  They also help to mop up free radicals that cause cellular damage leading to skin ageing. Eat a small handful of almonds every day as part of a balanced diet (apparently, they help you sleep too!). Just a few nuts will provide as much as 37% of your RDA.

Take care when buying over-the-counter products as they can often contain a number of carcinogenic and synthetic ingredients. These chemicals are designed to keep creams on the shelf longer, and unfortunately, there are very few restrictions on the safety and efficacy of these ingredients.
