Beauty tips for perfect glowing skin

Beauty tips for perfect glowing skin

At the Benefit demonstration at the Clothes Show Live this week, we picked up some great beauty tips that we of course had to share with you.

Make-up artist Rachel Wood, head artist at the event, was on-hand to share the tips on how she created the looks for the beautiful models.

Using Benefit's best pieces she shared her know-how on how best to apply them ensuring your look your best.

Sun Beam

Use Sun Beam along the top of the nose, on your cupid's bow, a dot on the chin, underneath your eyebrow and across the top of the cheeks to give skin a gorgeous glow.

Pat it onto the skin to make sure you don't break up the pigments.

To counteract the glow from Sun Beam, use a powder on the triangle of your face to help create a contrast. The triangle runs from the top of your nose, down the sides to underneath your chin. Apply the powder there for a matte-effect finish.

Bad Gal Lash

This is Rachel's favourite mascara. It dries really quickly, which she explains is great for applying to 60-80 models, and you build up to get a really strong eye look.

Dallas Lip Gloss

This gives a beautiful pretty, natural colour to lips.

Dab it on to lips to build up on how much you want.

Hoola Powder

Use this bronzing powder to help contour your face.

Create a soft contour buy applying the powder underneath your cheekbones to create a shadow effect. Blend a lot so there isn't a harsh line.

Then sweep the powder across the hairline, down the nose and across the chin for a healthy glow.
