It's that time of year again- yes the ‘Nation’s Favourite Hairdresser Awards’ are upon us once more.

Fronted by Emma Willis, the Head & Shoulders award ceremony, which is now in its third successful year, saw some hairdressing hopefuls battling it out for the 2009 title.

Competitors faced stiff competition this year, as standards were higher than ever and to win the coveted title, hairdressers were warned they'd have to create something spectacular.

For many across the country, hairdressers have become long-standing friends, relationship counsellors and confidants to millions of people.

So after months of online voting across the UK, the competition reviled the country’s most loved and favourite Hairdresser out of 9 regional finalists...
