Girls Aloud have traded in singing for beauty designing, creating their own range of falsh eyelashes with Eylure, Grazia reports.
There are five different styles, one each for Cheryl, Kimberly, Nicola, Nadine and Sarah, each designed according to their individual style
Cheryl's lashes are thick and full on while Nicola's are more suitable for weveryday wear but still long and luscious at the outer corners. Kimberly's lashes are also lighter but lovely and long. Nadine's take inspiration from supermodels like Helena Christensen and Bridgette Bardot and Sarah's are dark and thick.
The girls told Grazia that the idea came from their dressing room habits of cutting up and gluing bits of their favourite lashes.
It's fitting that the girls have chosen to design falsies as Cheryl has already inspired a boom in sales of the product. Mark Tyldesley, health and beauty director of Tesco, told the Guardian: "August last year, when her profile on X Factor started to rise, is exactly when the trend really took off."
We might not have their money and wardrobes but at least now we can get Girls Aloud's eyelashes!
