Save: Colour Radiance Leave-in Conditioning & Care Spray

I’ll start with the good points. It’s so easy to use, just give it a good shake so the dual layers which help prevent colour fade and condition the hair can mix together and then spray onto wet or dry hair. I have quite thick hair and usually need a lot of conditioner to give it a silky feeling after washing but the Dove spray didn’t specify how much I should be using, do I risk over using and end up with greasy hair or under using and having dry hair? I did both and I’m afraid to say I just couldn’t find the right amount to use, my hair was either limp and had a greasy residue to it or just too dry. Maybe if you had thinner hair it would have a different effect but it just didn’t work for me. However, the colour protect did seem to have an effect. My colour was left glowing and it seemed to keep it looking a nice golden colour.

Splurge: JOICO Moisture Recovery Leave-in Moisturiser

I don’t want to get too excited over the product but I have to say it really did the job, and did it well! After applying to wet hair and drying, not only was my hair conditioned beautifully but it was also full of bounce and life. This was its big sell because other leave in conditioners can leave your hair limp despite being well conditioned but this product really broke the mould! It was a joy to use and even though it’s on the pricey side at £12.95 it’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for some deep conditioning and it also helps when styling too, so it gets bonus points for that. It’s a winter hair essential that every woman should invest in.
