Sex Is The Best Way To Keep Fit

Finally, a new report we can actually understand and take on board- lots of sex is good for you and your health. Hooray!
The NHS has come up with some new advice for those people struggling to get a regular workout, or establish any kind of fitness routine and unsurprisingly it's a theory we can all get on board with.
According to the NHS Direct website ‘sexercise’ as it's referred to, can lower risks of heart attacks and help people live longer.
Endorphins released during orgasm reportedly stimulate immune system cells, which can help to target serious illnesses such as cancer.
However, sexual health experts have been quick to dismiss the claims, claiming they could not be scientifically proven.
"Yes, there is evidence that sex has benefits for mental well being," Dr Melissa Sayer told Marie Claire, "but to say there is a link with reduced risk of heart disease and cancer is taking the argument too far."
NHS Direct have hit back however and said that their content was "backed by science and clinical evidence" and "isn't just a bit of fun".
The article on the website also goes on to suggest that orgasms can also help to keep mild illnesses like colds and aches at bay, due to the 'painkillers' it releases into the bloodstream.
In addition to all this, it says that sex with a little energy and imagination can provide the workout of an athlete, reports Marie Claire.
