Colleen Mc Loughlin was left red-faced at an exclusive boutique in Madrid yesterday.

The 19 year old fiancée of Manchester United and England star Wayne Rooney had her credit card rejected three times at the Chanel store.

The shopoholic teenager tried to buy a Chanel belt worth £1,343 when her card was rejected.

It is every woman's worst nightmare but luckily Rooney was waiting outside the store in a chauffeur driven car. Red-faced Colleen managed to attract their driver's attention, who then got Rooney to go into the store.

An onlooker said:" She got very flustered and tried to call Wayne into the shop.

"But he couldn't see her waving her hands around in the air. In the end she got the driver's attention, and he went and had a word with Wayne. Eventually he got out of the car looking furious."

The pair were on a two day trip to the city visiting David and Victoria Beckham.
