Cheryl Cole has been voted the top beauty icon in a new survey.

Jennifer Anniston is  flying the flag for the US at number 2 with voluptuous Holly Willoughby skating in at third position, according to the research into women's beauty routines.

The survey, commissioned by Montagne Jeunesse, also found that Cheryl Cole is the number one person us girls would like to share a pamper session with. In second place was funny lady Dawn French with Fern Britton taking the number 3 spot.
