Dior have launched their brand new foundation that specifically aimed at women wanting to create the perfect photo finish.

The light-boosting foundation was designed with the selfie generation in mind, as it helps to capture the natural light on the face, enhancing the cheekbones and eyes and banishing dull skin, shininess and wrinkles.

Natalie Portman looks gorgeous as the face of the campaign too.

Diorskin Star is set to end the bane of every woman with a busy social life – the embarrassing social media snap or ill-considered ‘selfie’ after a night out with friends.

International make-up artist Carlos Ferraz, whose clients include Kate Beckinsale, Mila Kunis and Eva Mendes, said: "We now live in a digital age and, as everyone is a photographer, it’s important our make-up is camera ready.

“Diorskin Star is perfect for bringing a good coverage with dewy, luminous and healthy looking skin - a great photogenic foundation.”

Independent research, commissioned by Dior to mark the launch of Diorskin Star, has revealed that two-thirds of women dislike pictures of themselves online – with nearly half relying on their foundation to save them from the curse of red-face and shininess in snaps.

Inspired by the techniques used in photography, the ‘Light Pulsion’ technology in Diorskin Star works like a camera diffusion filter – breaking up harsh light by scattering it across the face– to make users look instantly more photogenic without the need for hours in front of the mirror.

With every modern milestone now marked by a picture, with just one application of Diorskin Star a woman’s face will be ready for her camera close up.

The UK is one of the first markets in the world to launch  the product, which is then being rolled-out globally. Customers will be able to buy it in Debenhams, Selfridges, Harrods, House of Fraser, Fenwick, Boots and John Lewis from this week.
