Frankie Sandford and baby Parker

Frankie Sandford isn't ready to grow her hair out just yet.

The Saturdays singer spawned copycat trends the world over when she chopped off her brunette locks in 2009, and although her bandmates' long tresses often make her doubt her choice, she says her asymmetrical pixie crop is here to stay.

The 25-year-old star explained to new! magazine: "It's [hard] being around four girls with long hair all the time! When we're getting ready, they're all like, 'Oh, maybe I'll have a ponytail today, or have it straight.' I'm just like, 'Same again for me.'

"I get bored. But long hair doesn't suit me, and it gets on my nerves. I get so hot!"

Frankie was seen sporting shoulder-length hair extensions during her pregnancy last year, but has reverted back to her signature style for good since giving birth to her son Parker, who she has with soccer star Wayne Bridge.

The girls also confessed they have been known to steal each other's beauty products in the past, sometimes with disastrous results.

Mollie King added: "We're all so different looking, and with different colouring. Like, if I went for Rochelle [Humes]'s foundation it might not be the best look..."

Una Foden joked: "When you did that, you mean?"

Mollie protested, "In the past!", but Frankie fired back, "It wasn't that long ago."
