We pick out our favourite French skincare products

The certainly have got it right when it comes to skincare, whether it’s our beloved Bioderma or the refreshing Caudalie Beauty Elixir, we find ourselves reaching for them time and time again.

But no only are we using them over and over, they’re making incredible differences to our skin, they’re primping, preening and perfecting and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Seen as online beauty retailer Escentual.com have once again launched their French Pharmacy month, which sees up to 33% reduced on our beloved French skincare brands, we thought we’d pick out some of our favourite items that you need to add to your skincare stash.

First up, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+]. The [+] is a newer version of the classic product which helps to keep oily and blemish-prone skin balanced. The new formulation helps to eliminate acne marks from the moment they start to form too – basically it’s a must have for most ladies. We use this underneath our normal moisturiser, both in the morning and the evening to help give the skin an extra repair boost.

Again, if you’re prone to breakouts the Avene Cleanance Mask needs to make its way into your beauty stash at home. It helps to soothe the skin and the exfoliating beads help to shift away dead skin cells and you’re left looking fresh and radiant.

Caudalie Divine Legs is one of those products you’ll overlook time and time again, till you use it. Then you’ll wonder how you ever survived without it. It’s a natural alternative to self-tanners with moisturising and illuminating formulas that leaves your legs looking ‘Divine’ – for want of a better word.

The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is quite similar in terms of overlooking, using and then proceeding to fall in love. It boosts the skin instantly giving it a refreshing look, boosts radiance, helps to minimise the appearance of pores and can be used to set your make-up too. And, if you give your man a quick spritz after he’s shaved his face you’ll find that bottle is disappearing a lot quicker than you’re using it.

Dry shampoo is a must have for any beauty kit, and the Klorane offering is apparently a favourite of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. And if it’s good enough for the beautiful model, it’s good enough for us.

Finally, the Nuxe Reve de Miel Honey Lip Balm; we find our lips are always in need of an extra moisture boost and this balm is our favourite to do it. It’s no surprise that one of these is sold across the world every 28 seconds.
