Pixie Lott shares some make-up application tips with us

Pixie Lott is keeping busy with Strictly Come Dancing and her music career at the moment, but that doesn't stop her looking gorgeous on every occasion.

The singer exclusively shares her top beauty tips and the products she can't live without with FemaleFirst.

We're sure you'll be adding these to your Christmas list.

What are your top beauty tips?

I really like highlighters - I put them on top of a creamy blusher and it makes my skin look really glowy.

Another tip I recommend is to do your smoky eye before you put your base on. That way your eyeshadow doesn’t fall off onto your base.

If you don’t have professional brushes, it’s good to use a cotton bud to apply the smoky eyeshadow underneath your eyes. It makes it look much more smouldering.

If you want to make your brows look fuller and are in a rush, just brush them up and spritz a little hairspray on them if you have no brow gel.

Use your Magnitone facial brush before you apply your make up to give your skin a good glow.

What are your favourite beauty products?

Magnitone Lucid in Pink designed by Pixie Lott - Daily demands and hectic schedules can take its toll on my complexion so it’s vital for me to maintain great healthy, radiant looking skin. My very own Magnitone Lucid Facial Brush in Pink is the perfect solution as it helps me get more from my daily cleansing and exfoliating routine and easily slot into my busy lifestyle. It’s my ultimate beauty boosting must-have!

Dior Powder - Dior have the best powders. They don’t cake and aren’t heavy on the skin and are perfect at stopping any shine on my t-zone. I’ve tried others but this is the best.

Vichy derma blend foundation - I love this product as it’s kind to your skin and doesn’t contain any harsh irritants or impurities. It’s so light, and looks completely natural whilst still letting my skin breathe.

Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara – promises oomph and volume and it really works! I always have to make sure I have one in my make-up bag and then a spare.

Benefit - Watt’s Up Face Highlighter – gives a gorgeous dewy glow. You can use it on its own or over make-up and really works wonders at adding subtle radiance without looking sparkly or obvious.

Mac Eye Pencil in Coffee – I do love a smoky eye and these pencils give just the right amount of smudge factor.

The limited edition Magnitone Lucid in Pink, designed by Pixie Lott is £69.99 and available from www.lookfantastic.com
