Models flowed onto the deck at Roberto Cavalli’s Spring Summer 15 catwalk show, encountering summertime and the desire for a carefree escape – the make-up look embodied this.

The Florentine designer created a collection in which shades of fire orange, cerulean blue, racing green and saffron yellow become the mirror of the summer.

Warm, sultry smoky eyes featuring rich charcoal bronze tones and silver shimmer highlights set against freshly flushed, sporty skin. Lips were enhanced with a natural hint of nude pink balm for a subtle sheen.

Pat’s Get the Look: Backstage at the Roberto Cavalli SS15 show, Pat McGrath, Max Factor Global Creative Design Director revealed a truly sexy and sultry glamour transformation with summery charcoal bronze shimmered eyes to mirror the relaxed cool of summer.

She comments: “Cavalli wanted the girls to look sexy and sultry but in a really relaxed way. So, we mixed bronze, silver and deep charcoal shimmers to create a natural and easy-going smoky eye. This real beauty of this look is that it has a glowing appeal that all women love – it’s just so wearable day or night.”

In preparation of the bright lights and HD cameras, Pat kick-started the look by massaging ultra- hydrating moisturizers into the models skin  Next, she followed up with All Day Flawless Facefinity 3-in-1 Foundation to deliver a semi matte look with a slight luminous finish, to keep complexions looking fresh.

She says: “It’s a matte finish but with life! Apply with a brush then blend the edges into the sides of your face or use the warmth of your fingertips to apply. Use a small brush to layer up and perfect.”

Once perfected, she used NEW Crème Puff Blush in Nude Mauve applied just below the cheekbones to contour and enhance model’s high cheekbones.  Lastly, she applied a touch of Masterpiece Colour Precision Eye Shadow in Pearl Beige, to the tops of the cheeks for an added glow and highlighting effect.

Next, Pat created the charcoal bronze toned eyes using a mix of brown, charcoal and silver metallic and shimmers. Firstly, Masterpiece Colour Precision Eye Shadow in Coffee was applied across the total eye lid and along the lower lash line, before depth was added with layers of Excess Shimmer metallic eye shadows in Onyx and Bronze softly blended into the crease and up to the outer corners of the eye.  A new twist was added with a touch of Excess Shimmer Eye Shadow in Crystal applied to the brow ones, inner corners of the eye and along theupper lash line, close to the upper lashes for slight contrast.

Sexy but sophisticated lashes gave the essential finishing touch to the sultry summer eye look. Pat used NEW Max Factor Masterpiece Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Mascara to volumise, lengthen and darken both the upper and lower lashes. Eyes were framed with perfectly groomed, bold brow using Max Factor Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel for extra definition.

Lastly, to keep focus on the eyes, lips were kept subtle with just a transparent slick of Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm in Sumptuous Candy added for a beautiful natural sheen.
