Anna Kournikova opens Adidas Store

Russian tennis babe Anna Kournikova opened the Adidas flagship store in New York recently.

Hundreds of male fans and admirers turned up at the event to catch a glimpse of the tennis star.

Kournikova still represents Adidas even though she stopped playing competitive tennis two years ago.

She will also do promotional work the sports giant at nationwide events along with boxer Laila Ali, the daughter of legendary boxer Muhammed Ali.

As well as representing Adidas she has also modelled for in the Yohji Yamamoto Y-3 fashion show last year for adidas.

She told Women’s Wear Daily that she loved the show :” It was my first fashion show and I loved it. I couldn’t believe how long it took to start and how short it was.”

It looks like Kournikova is back in the spotlight : she is currently married to singer Enrique Inglesias after they met in his video.
