Audrey Hepburn LBD sold for £410,000
It must be the most expensive little black dress ever bought.
The famous Givenchy dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys sold for a record price at auction.
The iconic dress sold for £410,000, which was six times the estimated price of £70,000 to an anonymous telephone bidder.
Hubert Givenchy donated the dress worn by Hepburn in the classic 1961 movie, which turned the actress into a Hollywood legend.
Other items which went under the hammer at the Christies film and memorabilia sale in London included: James Bond's first gun, which sold for £54,000, and the reindeer jumper worn by Colin Firth in Bridget Jones's Diary, fetching £1,080.
