The beautiful pair married this year
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds surprised us all with the announcement of their wedding in September. The small event, with only 35 guests, left us all in awe and shock that we didn’t manage to find out any details before – not even the fact that they were in fact engaged.
And since then, we’ve even struggled to find out small details. We know Martha Stewart planned it, Florence Welch performed and that Marchesa designed the beautiful dress.
We may not have seen the dress, but seen as Blake Lively is one of the best dressed celebrities, she wins Best Dressed Bride of the year.
In the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine which gives an exclusive look into wedding of the year, we see just one image of the happy couple, a close-up of their hands.
With this we get to see some details of the couture dress.
Beautiful rose-gold embellishments are featured on the gown, which matches her Lorraine Schwartz rose-gold engagement ring. This detailing was carried on to her bouquet which also featured rose-gold designs.
It also helps that she went with Marchesa to design her gown, because whenever she’s worn their pieces before, like always, Blake has looked beautiful.
Anne Hathway’s Valentino gown also deserves special mention too, she looked beautiful.
