Critics Choice Awards: The Outfits

Hollywood are spoiling us with all these awards ceremonies, yesterday it was the turn of the Peoples Choice Awards and today we can feast our eyes on the outfits from last night's Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica.

There were gorgeous dresses aplenty at the ceremony with Hollywood pulling out all the stops.

Anne Hathaway led the way in an asymmetrical Gianfranco Ferre dress. The dress looked like two different outfits with the white half more structured with pleating detail and the black half more fitted. It was held together with a gorgeous buckle belt on the waist. She accessorised with cute peep toe heels and drop earrings studded with Cartier diamonds.

Anne's hairstyle let her down as it was a little on the boring side, a few curls or an up-do would have looked better. Top marks on the dress though.

Angelina Jolie wowed onlookers with an off white Grecian style dress. She may have played it safe but she still looked stunning in the floor length, one shoulder dress split to the thigh.

We love the cute clutch bag and diamond earrings but the scraped back hair is a bit too severe for the actress.

Katy Perry continued her mission to add a splash of crazy to every red carpet event. This week's choice is a horrific baby blue (fake?) fur shawl teamed with a dress that looks more like a nightgown that an awards bash outfit.

She teamed the silk and net blue number with clumpy gold shoe, a crystal clutch bag and giant blue ring.

In Katy's defence we suppose it adds a bit of fun to these otherwise formal events and it's better than her banana outfit we suppose!
