Dan Gillespie-Sells is Feeling fashionable

Dan Gillespie-Sells is the lead singer and front man of The Feeling, a band best known for their hits including Fill My Little World and their alternate fashion sense.

Whether you're male or female, there is a definite appreciation for a man who knows how to dress and isn't afraid to experiment with some new looks and Dan is one such icon.

Famed for his vintage style and classic smart dressing, he answers a few quick questions on his style and where his favourite place to shop is.

- What does fashion mean to you?

Fashion should be fun. A way of expressing yourself. I hate fashion snobs
and I'm weary of people who make judgements based on appearances. However,
style is something I can take more seriously.　

- Describe your style and how it has changed since The Feeling's first
album?

We haven't changed all that much. We never really followed fashion. We're
just boys who like dressing up and wearing nice suits.

- What's your favourite shopping destination?

Liberty

- What is your favourite item of clothing?

All my clothes get wrecked at gigs. There is red and gold tie that I haven't
destroyed yet.

- Who is your fashion icon?

- Your Bandmate Rich is of course married to Sophie Ellis Bextor who is quite the
style icon. Has she ever tried to give the band a makeover?

No, she never hasn't but we'd be glad of the help.

- who is the biggest clothes horse in the band and can you tell us their
most extravagant clothing buy?

I have a huge amount of clothing but I share with my boyfriend (or rather he
shares with me).　

- You are touring in October and whenever we've seen you, you tend to be
smartly dressed and leaning to the formal. Do you ever feel like throwing on
something extravagantly showman like a lyrca catsuit?

I'll save the catsuit for my days off!

- Your new single is called '100 Sinners' but what is your biggest fashion
sin?

Is there such a thing? The only fashion sin is to take it all to seriously.
I'd never do that!
