Debra Messing on Trend for Thin Celebrities

Debra Messing worries about the trend for stick thin celebrities.

The ‘ Will and Grace’ star admitted in a recent interview that she could not have coped if the same pressure had been there when she was younger.

The 38-year-old actress told Red magazine that she worries about the Nicole Richies of the world.

She said;” It’s an incredibly vulnerable age because you are more focused on looks at that point. As mature as you may be, you just don’t have a clear sense of what is important to you. I worry about them”

The camera also puts 10lbs on the body so for celebrities who are constantly photographed she added: ‘ to look your normal self, you’re going to have to lose weight because the medium you are seen in is perverted.’

Since becoming a mother, her son Roman is two and a half, Messing has a different perspective on life and she is completely at ease with her body.
