British fashion label Ghost has been sold for £5 million.
Designer Tanya Sarne will keep a 32% stake in the business but feels the time is right for a change.
She told the Times newspaper that she wanted to spend more time with her grandchildren and plans to concentrate on designing again.
Sarne will continue as head of design she added:" I'm putting everything ‘I've got into it for the time being. I can really concentrate on the product now."
Future plans include a new knitwear collection and a new jewellery range.
