There is more than one thing to look forward to when it comes to award season. We don't just long to see which of our favourite films have triumphed and won a series of awards. We want to see the fashion. The good, the bad and the absolutely awful.
Here is the pick of the best dressed at the 2011 Golden Globes ceremony.
Newly single Scarlett Johansson shone in her nude coloured Elie Saab gown. His designs continue to make me smile, they are perfect Red Carpet dresses. Scarlett's dark hair looked beautiful scraped loosely back, she let the dress stand on its own and twinkle under the flash of the bulbs.

Emerald green was certainly the stand out trend of the evening and Catherine Zeta Jones' ball gown was nothing short of beautiful. The textured Monique L'Hullier strapless dress fitted her body perfectly at the top, from the waist down the material cascaded down. A pair of diamond drop earrings was all she need to wear, she looked radiant.

Jennifer Lopez, the angel in winter white. The sheer, diamond encrusted shawl made this dress stand out. She paired the Zuhair Murad gown with sparkling accessories. Jennifer is one of the few women who can carry off having all of hair pulled back, she still looks stunning and it worked perfectly with the dress.

A fairy tale dress. The gown is fit for a Princess. Olivia Wilde shows us exactly why she was named Style Watch for the year. The House actress stands tall in the Marchesa gown and doesn't let the heavy beading drown her. Exquisite. Olivia showed us her playful side by hiking up the dress to show off her Christian Louboutin gold spiked heels, completely to-die-for.

Mila Kunis also stepped out in a green gown. The one shouldered, pleated gown, designed by Vera Wang complimented the Black Swan stars complexion, making her skin look truly radiant. Or maybe that was down to the $7000 facial that she was rumoured to be having before the awards. The HD Diamond and Ruby Peel uses the stones to provide antioxidants and a tropical sheen to the skin.

Another single lady also owned the red carpet in Hollywood. Eva Longoria owned her Zac Posen figure hugging dress. She let her body do the talking, as she only paired a simple black clutch, and small diamond earrings with the outfit. The low cut dress, had a cut-out back showing off Eva's toned figure, without becoming to inappropriate.
