Helen Mirren understands why women have cosmetic surgery.
The 'Queen' actress - who is known to have a fantastic figure - has revealed she can appreciate why women undergo painful and dangerous plastic surgery to make themselves feel better about themselves.
She said: "You go, 'I don't want to look at that face anymore,' and I understand that, absolutely. I think people should be allowed to do whatever they want to make themselves feel happy."

The 64-year-old star admitted her own confidence was tested recently when she was closely examined by experts at London's Madame Tussauds museum, who are currently making a wax figurine of her.
She revealed on British TV show GMTV: "To be measured by callipers, every inch of you, it's a bit intimidating. Every inch of you gets measured! It was absolutely like having yourself next to yourself. It was very weird."
The British actress - who has stripped on screen in several films - recently insisted that baring all in front of the cameras is "liberating" and she gets through it by refusing to think of the response from male fans.
She said: "As you get older naked stuff gets easier. It's more to do with the role than what men in the audience think. There's a liberation about it."
Helen has been praised for helping women become comfortable in their bodies after she was famously pictured looking fantastic whilst sporting a red bikini on holiday with her husband in 2008.
