Dame Helen Mirren plans to start her own fashion line when she retires from acting.
The British actress - who stars in the new romantic period drama 'The Last Station' where she plays Sofya Tolstoy, the wife of the great Russian writer - says when she gets the chance to do something different from acting she would love the opportunity to design her own clothes.
Speaking at the London premiere of the movie, Helen told BANG Showbiz: "Yes of course, absolutely, I can't wait. Come soon man, the day will soon come, I hope. I will do lots of things. I will make clothes. Get my sewing machine out."

The 64-year-old Oscar-winner joked that she'd want her designs to appear on Sky One's US fashion show 'Project Runway' which is presented by Heidi Klum.
She added: "Yeah... sign up for Britain's 'Project Runway'. There's lots of stuff to do definitely."
The Hollywood star is not the first actress to be interested in dipping their hand into the fashion world.
Lindsay Lohan - who has her own range of leggings - starred as a guest judge on the sixth season of 'Project Runway', and was applauded by the programme's consultant Tim Gunn.
He said: "I was surprised and pleased by how extremely knowledgeable about fashion and articulate Lindsay Lohan was."
