Janet Jackson thought she looked like a "bad tranny" when she donned a gold bodysuit for a magazine shoot.

The 'All For You' singer wasn't a fan of her look when she appeared on the cover of W magazine as she didn't think it was flattering.

She said: "I thought I looked like a bad tranny, not even a cute one. If you're going to make me look like a tranny, at least make me look like a cute tranny."

It hasn't gotten old for me, I still enjoy it.

Despite not liking some of the outfits she has worn, Janet isn't afraid to experiment with her appearance because she easily gets bored with her look.

She said: "It comes from boredom. When that happens, I change my hair colour. It's funny that you said that because at the American Music Awards, I thought: I'm getting kinda bored. I can feel a change coming about. What direction I'm headed into or what it's going to be, I don't know. You have really pretty eyes."

However, one thing Janet, 43, hasn't tired of is getting the attention of a stylist.

She said: "It hasn't gotten old for me, I still enjoy it."
