Kate Winslet ‘bans’ Fashion Magazines

Kate Winslet has banned fashion magazines which depict pictures of ultra thin models & celebrities from her house.

The actress revealed that she is scared that they may influence her six year old daughter Mia.

She told the metro:” It is unbelievably disturbing what’s going on at the moment. Young girls are impressionable.

They’re trying to figure out who they are and they want to be loved.

“What I resent is there is an image of perfection that is getting thinner and thinner.

It’s truly upsetting to me.”

Kate also revealed that she hopes that “in some small way” her films have shown teenage girls that you don’t have to be a size zero to happy and successful.
