Katy Perry in Thinking Of You video

We're a little bit in love with Katy Perry at FemaleFirst, despite the fact that she doesn't always get it right in the fashion department.

Katy was one of our One's To Watch during her 'I Kissed a Girl' days and she has since evolved into one of our favourite people to talk about.

Fair enough, we may sometimes criticise her red carpet outfits, but in all fairness to her at least she gives different looks a go, and we particularly love her new style in the video for 'Thinking Of You'

Retro florals and some cheeky suspenders look gorgeous on the young star, and her 40s inspired beauty look for the video really suits Katy's own personal style.

It's hard to imagine Katy as a grunge blonde, considering she's polished the 'old Hollywood' look to perfection since she hit the music scene, but no so long ago, our favourite style starlet was looking less than glamorous.

She has no problems mastering the glam factor in her latest vid however, as she dons a series of retro wonders which are sure to be a big hit with her fashion fans.

We adore her poppy print dress and red cardigan, which we suspect must be vintage as we can't see anything like it gracing the catwalk in this climate.

Also, nude stockings and suspenders seem to be making something of a comeback with Katy getting a bit flirty with a topless male model in some scenes and showing off her perfect pins in the process.

We're slightly less keen on the bowl cut fringe she sports in once scene however, but the peachy coloured robe she wears with it does kind of make up for the quick fashion relapse.

She looks really cute and playful when she's balancing on the handlebars of a bike in the video, wearing a corset body suit and brown pumps with, wait for it- ankle socks!

Our favourite look of the whole video however is when she dons a black dress with grey collar, complete with lace gloves and umbrella.

The finishing touch of a black hat, complete with netting and super high-heels is the perfect example of how glamorous Goth should be done.
