Replicas of Kim Kardashian's Vera Wang wedding dresses will still go on sale, despite the reality TV star ending her marriage after just 72 days.
Kim-inspired tulle ball gown similar to her dress for the ceremony, and a mermaid gown
The 31-year-old socialite wed Kris Humphries in August but called time on their short-lived union earlier this week and now sources fear the copies of the three gowns she wore on the big day are "cursed".
However, the collections - which includes a "Kim-inspired tulle ball gown" similar to her dress for the ceremony, and a "mermaid gown" from the reception - are already into production and will be on sale at David's Bridal stores from February.
David's Bridal executive VP Brian Beitler told the New York Post newspaper: "The entire White by Vera Wang spring 2012 collection will be available exclusively at David's Bridal stores next season."
However, one source said: "Some on the sales side worry the dresses are cursed."
And insiders claim Vera - who personally made all of Kim's dresses - was shocked by the news the marriage was ending so quickly.
One said: "Vera cultivated the relationship with the Kardashians years ago. Everyone was taken for a ride on this one."
But it seems Vera isn't too worried as other dressed she designed for doomed celebrity weddings have proved popular in the past included the gown Jessica Simpson wore to marry Nick Lachey and Mariah Carey's dress for her nuptials to Tommy Mottola.
