Kim Kardashian has ditched her blonde hair.

The US reality TV star has given up her lightened locks and dyed her tresses back to her natural dark brown colour just one month after sporting the new style.

She wrote on her Twitter page: "I'm dyeing my hair back dark. Bye bye blonde, see you next summer!"

At the time she said: I woke up one day and I was like, 'It's a new day, I'm a new person, so why not go blonde? Let's see if blondes have more fun

The 28-year-old beauty admitted she was keen to make to change to feel like herself again.

She explained: "I'm going back to black, everyone!! Take one last look while you can ;)

"Loved the blonde but that is my alter ego, I am back! Feels good to be me again! I swear I was a different person w blonde hair (sic)"

Last month, the star transformed her trademark dark locks with honey-blonde and caramel highlights.

At the time she said: "I woke up one day and I was like, 'It's a new day, I'm a new person, so why not go blonde? Let's see if blondes have more fun.' I needed a change, I needed a new look. I never dyed my hair before and thought, now is the time."
