Oh, how we love Lady GaGa and her crazy fashion exploits, as she continues to thrill us with her inventive style.

After making waves in the UK for her Geisha lips, post-it note dress and thigh-high lace up boots, GaGa has now gone one better and debuted a futuristic look in the States.

Appearing on the Ellen show on Tuesday, the talented singer sported a crazy metal head brace, which nearly knocked the host out when she went to greet her.

According to the Daily Mail, GaGa's funky headwear was designed by theatrical hat designer Nasir Mazhar, and moved freely on its own as GaGa chatted away and performed.

When asked about her unusual headgear, Lady GaGa, real name, Stefani Germanotta, claimed her metal creation was "an orbit." Adding, "It's a barrier. It's my GaGa barrier."

To be honest, we're so used to seeing Lady GaGa rewriting the style rule book now, that nothing shocks us about her look anymore; we just stand back an admire in wonderment.

Especially when she completed her futuristic orb look with a patchwork denim catsuit, with pointed shoulders that looked suspiciously like those debuted at Balmain this season. Humm...

Lady GaGa and Balmain? what a fashion match made in heaven that would be!
