Lady Gaga is being given an award for her "well-appointed" accessories.

The 'Poker Face' singer - famed for her series of bizarre hats, gloves, sunglasses and bags - will be given a Stylemaker Award at the 13th annual Accessories Council Exchange (ACE) Awards on Monday (02.11.09) in recognition of her unique wardrobe.

Karen Giberson, president of ACE, said: "As an artist, she's well-appointed in accessories. Just when you thought you saw everything in originality, there she is again. People anticipate what she's going to wear and it's exciting to see accessories as such a meaningful part of someone's wardrobe. Whether it's her hat or gloves, she's always well-appointed."

Marc Jacobs - a 2007 Designer of the Year award winner - will present the honour to his pal.

Other honorees at the ceremony - which takes place at Cipriani in New York - include Diane von Furstenberg, who is being given an Accessory Visionary Award, Tomas Maier of Bottega Veneta as Designer of the Year and Burberry as Brand of the Year.

Legendary doll Barbie will be honoured as a Fashion Icon.
