Lauren Conrad is to release her own style book.

The 'Hills' star has signed a deal with publishers Harper Collins and will give readers tips on her to recreate her look.

Lauren - who designs her own range of clothing for US department store Kohl's - said: "I am really excited to write a style guide. I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous."

My family has always shopped at Kohl's, so I've always known about them and I think that they do a really great job.

As well as giving tips and hints, the book will also feature new and never-before-seen photos of fashion icon Lauren.

The style guide will be released late next year.

Last month, Lauren's clothing range was released and she has previously spoken of her pride about it.

She said: "It is a California chic line. It is a little more casual. They are basically trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere.

"My family has always shopped at Kohl's, so I've always known about them and I think that they do a really great job."
