Lily Allen performed at Chanel's Paris show yesterday (06.10.09), but Katy Perry stayed away.
The 'Fear' singer - who has been feuding with Katy since the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer referred to herself as a "skinnier version of Lily Allen" - sang a medley of her hits at the Paris Fashion Week event, with show bosses keen to make her feel as comfortable as possible.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Chanel did not want to risk offending Katy by not inviting her. Nor could they risk upsetting Lily if her rival popped up in the front row. Very senior people had to smooth things out so there was no embarrassing scene and Katy stayed away."
Lily - who has modelled for Chanel, and is friends with creative director Karl Lagerfeld - sang at the "romp in the hay" themed show in front of celebrities including Prince, Rihanna and supermodel Claudia Schiffer.

Discussing his collection, Karl said: "I'm from the country, darling. I hear all this talk about organic farming and the environment and I'm all for it, but there must be a certain sophistication, so it's not used as an excuse to let things go to seed."
Among the items making their way down the runway were high-heeled clogs, dungaree dresses and tweed suits.
Meanwhile, British designer Alexander McQueen wowed crowds with his Spring/Summer 2010 line, inspired by an underwater wonderland.
His high-tech collection - featuring fiberglass heeled boots and gills fixed to models' temples - included dresses with bold prints of fish, squid, beetles and snakes.
Valentino opted for a more delicate theme, with orchid prints and delicate, feminine fabrics.
Their pastel shades of lilac, pink, buttermilk and beige were teamed with lace, beading and crystals for a delicate twist.
