The 'Crazy Heart' actress says indulging in some retail therapy when she's stressed calms her down and really enjoys going to one-off boutiques.

She told Britain's InStyle magazine: "Shopping calms me down. I really love Portobello Road in London and there's a beautiful store there called Aime on Ledbury Road. Little boutiques that carry small designers are best for finding hidden gems. There's a New York brand called No 6 that I love and also Dries Van Noten, Lanvin and Isabel Marant."

Maggie is nominated for Best Supporting Actress at this Sunday's (07.03.10) Oscars and admits she will be using a stylist to help get her ready for the prestigious event.

She said: "I use a stylist for events. She gets a bunch of clothes and I try things on to see what feels like me and what feels right for the event. Sometimes things click into place, like the Lanvin dress I wore to the Golden Globes last year. It didn't need an alteration or some funny bra to make it work at all. I was like, 'This is the one!' "
