One of the earliest contenders for fashion accessory of the new season is a leopard print scarf.

But not just any leopard print scarf – it is the fittingly named ‘Leopard’ scarf from Louis Vuttion.

The scarf designed by Marc Jacobs for Luis Vuttion’s autumn winter 2006 collections is being snapped up by style conscious celebrities.

Style queen Kate Moss first wore the red and black version in the latest campaign for the company but has been photographed wearing it off duty.

Keira Knightley has also been spotted wearing her scarf draped around her shoulders like a shawl. Sienna Miller has a grey /blue version which she wears as a headscarf for a casual but chic look.

The scarves come in cashmere and silk and the print was created by designer /artist Stephen Prouse in 2000 for Marc Jacobs.
