1950s star Marilyn Monroe is the surprise winner of a major vote to find a style icon to inspire fashions in 2008.
She was chosen by 30 per cent of the women who voted on Miss Bimbo
Chris Evans, who runs the site said: "Marilyn was put up against lots of modern stylish women such as Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton, but beat them hands down.
"It’s been 46 years since she died, but she is still a style inspiration for so many women."
