Marilyn Monroe is a style icon and fashion inspiration to many women and now the legendary actress is to get her own fashion line, Vogue reports.
Forty-eight years after her death, House of Monroe, a US fashion line based on the actress' style is set to launch.
The collection was created by designer Victor Carranza who was responsible for many custom designs for Monroe during her lifetime. The brand licencees have obtained the master license from the Marilyn Monroe estate - so they are the only companies with the actual rights to reproduce Monroe's image.
There has been much interest in the label, with many high end stockists including US store Bergdorf Goodman confirmed.
As well as the luxury House of Monroe line, a contemporary range of jeans and T-shirts called Norma Jeane, after Marilyn's real name, is apparently in the pipeline.
