Katy Perry has gained herself two young fans in Hollywood teen stars Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift as the threesome hit the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The girls showed why they are the hottest new names in music and TV as they shimmered in sequins and sparkle at the star studded event.

Hannah Montanah star Miley, 15, wore a floating flapper style shift dress in grey with peacock sequin detail.

Country singer Taylor, 18, opted for full-on sparkle in this gorgeous spankly gold dress.

But it was pop star Katy Perry who stole the show in a Wonderwoman style hot pant and bustier halter combo.

The three girls looked to be having a whale of a time as they giggled together and posed for photographers- however we're not sure how Miley and Taylor's parents would feel about their teen daughters hanging about with a 24 year old with a penchant for kissing girls.
