Naomi Watts loves fashion in the autumn as she gets the opportunity to dress up.

The Australian beauty - who was recently named as the new face of the Ann Taylor clothing range - confesses a preference for fashion which requires putting more clothes on rather than taking them off.

She said: "I love the autumn season and I think it's the best season for fashion.

Dressing up is always better when it's boots and jackets and coats. Everybody should have a camel coat.

The 41-year-old actress also admits to thinking of the Ann Taylor woman as being "all-American".

She revealed in a behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot: "To me the Ann Taylor woman feels like an all-American woman. She is someone who has confidence, she's smart, she's sexy.

"She's someone who cares about how she looks doesn't have hours to spend creating some look that's possibly going to overwhelm her. She wants to be comfortable."

Naomi follows in the footsteps of Milla Jovovich and Heidi Klum as a face of the US brand.
