Nicola Roberts is "obsessed" with fashion.
The Girls Aloud star claims reading about new trends and designers is a compulsion for her, and she hates it if she isn't knowledgeable about a new fad.
She explained: "I'm just a girl who loves fashion. I'm obsessed to the point of having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder about clothes. If I walk out of the house and I'm not happy in an outfit, it can ruin my day. I have to change."
I've discovered this passion for 40s and 50s clothes and a fascination for all these up-and-coming designers. I'm just finding out who I am, what my style is. Everything I wear, I wear because I love it.
The 24-year-old singer - who has her own make-up range called Dainty Doll - added her style is constantly evolving, and she doesn't mind if she occasionally gets looks wrong.
She told Britain's Grazia magazine: "I've got completely immersed in this world of fashion. I'm looking at it, reading about it, talking about it. I'm finding my way, finding my style and whatever anyone else thinks I'm really enjoying myself.
"I've discovered this passion for 40s and 50s clothes and a fascination for all these up-and-coming designers. I'm just finding out who I am, what my style is. Everything I wear, I wear because I love it."
