Emma Stone looked beautiful in her bold Giambattista Valli gown

Yesterday afternoon The Oscar Nominations were revealed, and whilst there was some interest in the awards show and the films that had been nominated – and overlooked – we were more concerned about the style that is about to ensue.

Oscar night is the biggest night on the film award calendar and on the 24th February we will be treated to a whole host of beautiful gowns as they saunter down the red carpet.

Last year we got old school beauty, nude gowns galore and pops of colour from Louis Vuitton and Giambattista Valli. Oh, and let’s not forget the leg, Angelina Jolie’s standout leg.

This year we can expect beautiful gowns from Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Naomi Watts and Amy Adams who are all nominated for an award.

And we can expect Kerry Washington and Amanda Seyfried to also grace us with their presence as they star in films that have been nominated.

Anne Hathaway will most likely be wearing a beautiful Valentino gown – anyone else remember her beautiful red one from a few years ago?

I’m most looking forward to Quvenshané Wallis who has been nominated for Best Actress in her role Beasts of the Southern Wild, the nine-year old actress is bound to look adorable in her gown. But who will get the feat of dressing such a young starlet?

Seen as Emma Stone announced the Oscar nominations we can only hope that she attends the ceremony too. Emma is always a delight on the red carpet.

It’s looks set to be another good night in style terms, I for one can’t wait to see what everyone is wearing.
