Rachel Weisz has proven her worth on the red carpet over the years

Rachel Weisz has a career that has spanned 20 years, so she knows something about dressing for the red carpet.

Whilst she may not make you swoon every time she steps in front of the paparazzi it’s very rare she makes a mistake.

She has a classic style that will never date.

Today sees the release of her newest film, The Bourne Legacy in which she stars with Jeremy Renner, so we decided to take a look at her greatest fashion moment from over the years.

It was easy to pick out this one look as it stood out and shone amongst the sea of black, fitted pencil dresses.

The look was worn to the Cannes 2009 Festival, at the premiere of her film, Agora.

The green, strapless Valentino gown looked divine on the brunette beauty.

The dress featured a thigh-high split – see, even a huge trend three years ago – and she showed off her milky skin to perfection.

She paired the dress with a gold clutch, strappy heels, and gold bangles and drop earrings.

It’s old Hollywood glamour at its best.

She wore a naturally-bitten pink lip with a smoky eye and of course swept her hair to the one side for a truly glamorous look.

There is nothing to criticize about this look.

Do you think it’s Rachel’s best ever look?
