Rio Ferdinand is to design exclusive watches for Tiret.
The Manchester United and England football star was approached by Daniel Lazar and Damon Dash to design an exclusive timepiece for the brand.
According to reports, hip hop mogul Dash and celebrity jeweller Lazar approached Ferdinand after they heard he was looking for one of their exclusive pieces.
An insider told the Mirror:” Damon is a huge fan of Rio’s style from his ever-changing hair to his clothes and was so excited that he wanted to get involved.
As a goodwill gesture he got a watch with his face emblazoned in diamonds worth £46,000 made.”
Rio’s new watches, provisionally named Second Chance Rio, will retail from £12,000 to £36,000 and should launch in the next few months.
