Roberto Cavalli's Minimal Designs

Roberto Cavalli doesn't believe vulgar dresses exist.
The Italian designer - famed for his love of animal prints and bright jewelled colours - insists if a gown looks bad, it's because of the way it's being worn and not the design itself.
Cavalli - whose latest clothes are more "minimalist" than his previous collections - said: "I think there's no such thing as vulgar dresses, just a vulgar way of wearing them.
"Over the last season, I wanted clean lines and proportions to experiment with the Cavalli style by applying more minimalist concepts, but to keep the feminine, sensual and elegant feel that's always characterised by my fashion.
"I've looked for a more subtle sensuality, something whispered not shouted, a new vision of romanticism, bucolic, poetic. A kind of hymn to a more simple life."
Discussing why he enjoys dressing women, Cavalli, who has worked with the likes of Victoria Beckham and Beyonce, told Britain's Hello! magazine: "I adore a woman's body, but prefer it when it's not shown off in an excessive way, but intuitively and carefully."
He added also that a dress can "change a woman's life" so it is important the she dresses intriguingly and maintains a sensuality as a "fabulous starting point".
