Sandra Bullock's husband made her dye her hair back to brown because he hated her being blonde.

The actress - who is married to motocross enthusiast Jesse James - had to change the colour of her tresses for new movie 'The Blind Side' but her spouse was less than impressed.

She said: "I like blonde highlights. If I did change my hair for good, I would have to change my whole wardrobe. There was a very important person - mainly my husband - in my life who just didn't want me being blonde, thank God! There was not an appreciation. There was a little person who thought I looked like an angel, and there is a big person that said, 'I don't like the blonde on you, take it off.' And you want him to say that. But that's what's fun about it."

It took someone like him who was unafraid. My energy can be daunting. Do you really want to wake up to this at five in the morning? Apparently, he did.

Sandra recently admitted she is amazed her husband can live with her because she can be very difficult.

She said: "I know I'm not easy to deal with. I'm controlling, and I want everything orderly, and I need lists. My mind goes a mile a minute. I'm difficult on every single level. I'm aware that I can be annoying.

"It took someone like him who was unafraid. My energy can be daunting. Do you really want to wake up to this at five in the morning? Apparently, he did."
