This Week's Best Dressed

Celebrities have started the new year with a bang showing of an assortment of fantastic outfits but who well be crowned this week's Best Dressed? Step forward Sam and Amanda Merchant.

The Big Brother twins fought off stiff competition from great outfits at Wednesday's People Choice Awards in Hollywood but their edgy London style won us over.

Sam (left) managed to work three different trends without looking over styled. Her leather trousers are so hot right now as is the sheer look that Sam is working on her top half. She's also wearing the accessory of the moment, the multi strand necklace.

We love the casual half up half down curly hair style that Sam is sporting. It makes her look a lot more grown up than when we first met the twins.

Amanda is also working a leather, sheer combo but she has gone for a leather skirt, long enough to still look chic, and a ruffled sheer cardigan. Amanda has added a touch of next seasons folk look with her fringed heels. As the twins would say we love it!

The tousled curls and heavily kohled eyes make Sam and Amanda look a lot trendier than they used to and we're happy they're embracing their inner style icons.

They may still be working the matchy-matchy look but now they've stepped away from all the pink and glitter the Merchant twins are looking more and more like their American counterparts the Olsen Twins.
