The Peoples Choice Awards might have been an overall stylish affair but it wouldn't be an awards ceremony without a dodgy outfit, step forward Queen Latifah.

Latifah, who hosted the awards, arrived on the red carpet in this tent shaped purple frock. We know the actress is a larger lady but someone needs to advise her that swamping herself in fabric will only make her look bigger.

The two-tone effect of the fabric looks cheap and the uneven smattering of gems down the front just looks like some have fallen out.

Although we can only see a bit of the shoe they look a bit too market stall with the skinny silver straps.

We love Queen Latifah, we really do but she would look a hell of a lot better if she embraced her curves instead of hiding them under masses of garish fabric.
