Choose a simple day look that can be dressed up for evenings

Never underestimate the power of a striking bag
"For evening these should be small and carried as a clutch, but large enough for a lip gloss and phone. Go for one of two styles: the slim-line zip pouch or the more structured hexagonal chain bag. I love a flash of chic rose-gold hardware."
Wear show-stopping party heels
"I never tire of a chic pointed pump. They make every outfit look great and also enhance the leg. They're perfect because of how comfortable they are."
It's better to be under-dressed than over
"If I'm not sure what the dress code is, I opt to be a little more casual. It's easier to be underdressed and then carry yourself with confidence. During the colder months, I team evening dresses with my military-inspired structured coats thrown over the shoulders."
Sometimes it's great to go for all-out glamour
"For a formal function, I often wear one of my signature dresses as they're appropriate for black tie. I feel confident as they look good from every angle - always an important factor for evening events. I pair with my favorite heels, great hair and makeup, and, of course, one of my bags."
