Juergen Teller Thrilled By Victoria

Juergen Teller was thrilled when he managed to convince Victoria Beckham to climb into a carrier bag.

The German photographer shot the former Spice Girls singer in her 2008 campaign for Marc Jacobs and was pleased with the now-famous shot which saw her in a large Marc Jacobs bag with only her legs and the designer's latest shoes on display.

She studied my work and knew what it involved

Juergen said: "Of course that was the last picture in the shoot. And it was the one I'd wanted from the start."

Juergen - who has also worked with Sofia Coppola, Kate Moss and Michael Stipe - was very impressed with Victoria's work ethic and enthusiasm.

He told Britain's Independent newspaper: "I think at the time we shot her, she may well have been the most-photographed woman in the world. It would have been very easy to laugh at her but it was very important to Marc and myself that she was laughing with us. She immediately said, 'Yes,' and she was very, very excited and also well-informed. She studied my work and knew what it involved."
